Coming Home
I've been doing a lot of flying lately as I blogged in my Frequent Flyer post.
I never tire of the sight of the island of manhattan on the left as we land in LaGuardia. This is what it looked like last wednesday afternoon.

Flying into New York, Washington DC, and Mexico City.
The first two, for obvious reasons. The second one is best done at night. They come in low and it's like flying through a sea of light that never end. They sure have one big city!

nice shot -- the light and time of day reminded me of a very similar view I had of lower manhattan about a year ago.
that's the runway 4 approach at laguardia; the most scenic, imho (as long as you're on the left side of the plane!).
