Meet The Day
This podcast stuff just keeps delivering the goods.
Today I was listening to Insomnia Radio's Double Shot podcast.
The show featured a band from Boston called Meet the Day. They sound a bit like Dave Matthews with some Ben Harper thrown in for good measure.
If you can't be bothered to set up a podcasting client yet, just go to their website and listen to three of their songs that are broacast right from the main page.
My favorite song is called A Smile Like Yours.
Enjoy.

The music is actually quite good. Infact I liked "Soldier" too.

Hi There;
I just wanted to say that I sincerely appreciate your open ears, and the enthusiasm you have for Insomnia Radio. It puts a permanent coat-hanger smile on my face...
Also, it's refreshing to see a comment about Double Shots: although it's on the same feed, the response is much smaller, partially due to the mellow nature of the music. But it sounds perfect at 1 a.m, doesn't it?
thanks for listening and take care..
J.

Interesting post on rssweblogsinc.com on "The Hornet's Nest of Podcasting Music", discussing potential impact of licensing issues. Links to a post on bestkungfu weblog.

This particular Double Shot is excellent. I've had it on my iPod since last Saturday but hadn't listened until coming to work this morning. This is the perfect length for my commute. I wish there were a new one every day.
