Less is More (continued)
Mark, the middle school principal at Little Red Elizabeth Irwin (LREI,) gave a very short talk this morning but it included a great quote that sums up the "Small is the new Big" and "Less is More" ideaviruses that we've all be blogging about.
I wrote it down so I could share it with all of you.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed people
can change the world: indeed it's the only thing that ever has!"
-- anthropologist Margaret Meade
Amen

sure sure, every 1,000 mile jounrey begins with a single step. but do you encourage your portfolio companies to think small? have you told your LPs that a 1X return is the new ideal? how about "metcalfe's law"? is that no longer applicable?
