New Arcade Fire
I got an advance copy of the new Arcade Fire record, called Neon Bible.
As expected, it's awesome.
This number is called Antichrist Television Blues. I hope you like it.
Antichrist Television Blues - The Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
Now does anyone know how I can get a couple tickets to the Judson shows in mid February? Andrew and I went online at 9am on Jan 5th as suggested and were shut out instantly.

Fred, did you just post Arcade Fire or a new Bruce Springsteen track?
(Mind you, their last record was a grower on me, apart from the immediate Neighborhood #3, and now it's a firm fave)
Ah... update... I'm 3 mins 30 in and the track's just gone spiraling mad (in a good way). That's more like it! Looking forward to the full album.

Ha! I was going to say the same thing about Bruce. Good to hear bands pushing the creative boundaries

Sounds great! Arcade rocks.
Amazing how much this sounds like Bruce though. I'm from NJ so you can never get enough BRUCE.
Good pick.

I saw Arcade Fire in Vancouver in early October '05. They played at the PNE Forum which is a great, dirty old barn like venue. Outstanding show with a huge crowd. The highlight of the night was Win Bulter's reworking of Springsteen's State Trooper complete with a guitar shattering ending. I wish I had an MP3 of that.

The music fans on your blog have to be jealous about this (getting the CD in advance), I've been craving new Arcade Fire ever since stumbling upon Headlights Look Like Diamonds a couple years ago. This is one band that I'm dying to see in concert but their touring is a little finicky.
