Fathead says that Kings Of Leon is playing a free show for 300 at the Apple Store in Soho on June 8th. Oh yeah.
Now who's gonna sleep on the streets of Soho the night of June 7th to get me into that show?

Fred,
The Kings Of Leon ROCK!
Many thanks.
P.S., Not sure whether you've posted on this, but isn't Lindsay Campbell (of Wallstrip fame) excellent on "The Sopranos"?

Just to say thank you for turning me on to The National. Have been listening to The Aligator constantly and now added The Boxer to the loop.
Last night they played The London Astoria a great mid size venue, it was packed with an expectant hip young crowd. They kicked off with Start a War built a show of beauty finishing off with two encores.
Enjoy the the NYC gig.
PS as this is a KOL thread saw them last month and they rocked the off to the close the place was jumping. The only downer of the night was just as we got home the friends we had gone to the show with got a text from the KOL boys saying come join them back stage for the after show, by then we were too close to our beds.

That album is fantastic. These guys have blown me out of the water since first hearing them a few years ago. Hope all is well with you Fred and I have a band that I must recommend. Midlake, www.midlake.net, is a great Austin based group that I know would be right up your alley. Check out the sample for the song Roscoe on their site. Kind of Fleetwood Mac meets Indie rock meets M. Ward. Let me know what you think.

A rock band in an electronics store - hmm I think I'll pass. Too bright for one thing.
