A Window On Etsy
This is about as transparent as you can get as a CEO blogging about your company.
Thanks Rob for sharing all of that with us.
I think its really helpful for the entire stakeholder universe (buyers, sellers, employees, vendors, managers, investors, advisors, community, world at large) to know what makes a company tick and occasionally sputter.
If you are a kick ass engineer who wants to work in a company like this, please send me an email. You can do that by clicking on the link on the left sidebar of this blog that says "email me".

If you would like to see the issues that Rob Kalin has need to be transparent about, them consider this...
I think, for the sake of fairness, you should visit
http://etsynews.com/
and read closely the opinions of the userbase that have refused to be censored by etsy staff. Topics of interest at etsynews.com are:
"Etsy says no double-billing has occurred"
"“Open Etsy” blog by etsy founder"
"Login issue most likely to affect university, school and work computers"
"Check your statements for double charges, overdraft fees - UPDATED"
and other topics. Please be thorough in your read.
